Intelligent Design vs. The Big Bang Theory

Teaching Intelligent Design in science class is almost funny. I am not saying don’t teach it in public school, I am saying don’t teach it science class.

It should not attempt to examine our physical world to explain beliefs. Beliefs are a religious way of thinking. Teach it in a World Religions class.

Not teaching The Big Bang Theory in science class is just as funny. Christians say that it shouldn’t be taught in public school. That is teaches that the Bible is wrong. The Bible is a book of stories written by men to tell why they think things happened. Not how they happened but why. A theory is a scientific way of mathematically explaining our physical world. It does not attempt to examine our spiritual place in this physical world. Teach it physics in a science class.
